We know that deciding what universities to apply for can be a difficult decision. That’s why we’ve put together our top six reasons why you should consider applying to Bishop Grosseteste University (BGU).

Graduate Employability

Here at BGU we are so proud of our graduates and all they go on to achieve. Figures released by the Higher Education Statistic Agency (HESA) in July 2018 show that 97% of BGU graduates find work or are continuing to study six months following graduation. With many of our courses offering work placements, along with schemes such as graduate attributes, we work hard to ensure that our students leave BGU well equipped for their future career.

Our leafy campus

We love our beautiful self-contained campus, especially on a sunny day! Whether you want to relax outside in the sun, treat yourself in our cafes, work out in the gym or even catch a film at our cinema, the BGU campus has plenty to keep you entertained.

Welcoming environment

Here at BGU we pride ourselves on the fact that our students are names and not numbers. The welcoming, family feel on campus will make you feel instantly at home!

Lincoln

We may be biased but we think Lincoln is a great place to study. With the historic Lincoln Cathedral and Lincoln Castle just a stone’s throw away from BGU’s campus, along with a modern city centre and vibrant student scene, everything you need is right here.

Our brilliant staff

Approachable, passionate, brilliant. Just some of the words used to describe our staff! With our TEF Gold rating you can rest assured that the teaching you’ll receive at BGU is of the highest quality.

Student lifestyle

Your days at BGU are bound to be action-packed. From the moment you wake up in one of our modern accommodation options you’ll be sure to have plenty to keep you occupied. From lectures, to grabbing a coffee and relaxing in Bar BG, you’ll never be short of options.
