At BGU we want our students to have as broad a University experience as possible. Getting involved in paid work and volunteering is a great way to feel part of the University and wider Lincoln community. The experiences you gain will

  • help you in the graduate recruitment market,
  • count towards your Volunteering Award and Graduate Attributes Excellence Award and
  • develop your employability skills.

These opportunities are also a great way for you to meet people, make friends and give something back.

As we can’t host the annual Jobs on Campus Fayre or Volunteering Fayre at this time, we’ve pulled together all the information you need to get involved onto this webpage. You can browse opportunities, read job descriptions, and watch videos from students already involved.

We are also hosting a live event on Wednesday 29 of September 2021 from 1pm-2.30pm. Just click here to join the event. Your camera and microphone will be turned off so you can ask question in the chat function. There will be representatives at this event from the recruiting departments across the University and many of the volunteering organisations also. There is no requirement to ask a question (you can just listen to what other people are saying) and we won’t call on you. Unsure about the technical side and what to do? Please email and we’ll make sure you’re all set-up.
