Susan Rodda

Susan’s early career at Bishop Grosseteste College, as it then was, lasted between 1982 and 1986, with Lincolnshire Educational Television. Following a career break, she moved to Lincolnshire Library Service. Between 1995 and 2005, she was based at Lincolnshire Library Headquarters, in the acquisitions department, while also working for the Schools Library Service. Susan gained her Master’s degree in Information Science and Librarianship from the University of Aberystwyth in 2005, the same year gaining an NVQ3 in Community Dance Teaching. In 2005 she returned to Bishop Grosseteste University, joining the library staff, initially as the Enquiries Librarian. Now serving as BGU’s Collections Librarian, Susan oversees the libraries’ physical collections, apart from the resources held in the Teaching Resources Collection (TRC) which are overseen by the TRC Librarian. Susan is the main point of contact and academic librarian for Education Studies, Special Educational Needs, Drama, Business and Theology.
