Helen Swaby

Helen Swaby (nee Elliott) is a qualified integrative psychotherapist who teaches on the undergraduate counselling degrees at BGU (BA in Psychology and Counselling; BA Counselling) and the MSc in Mental Health, Wellbeing and Resilience. Helen is also a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and holds an MSc in Forensic Psychology.

Helen is an active researcher, interested in the areas of trauma-informed care, sexual crime prevention, self-care in helping professions and the experiences of trainee psychotherapists.
