For Primary Education with QTS (3 year undergraduate), Primary Teaching Studies with QTS (15 month Progression Route) and PGCE Primary and Secondary:
- You must have achieved GCSE Grade C (grade 4 on the new grading system) or above in English Language and Mathematics.
- You must have also achieved GCSE Grade C (grade 4 on the new grading system) or above in Science, if you wish to train to teach the Primary age range.
- You must have achieved GCSE Grade C or above in English Language and Mathematics.
For TESOL and Linguistics:
- You must have achieved a GCSE Grade C or above in English Language.
It is preferable to have these qualifications before applying, however, consideration will be given to those which are achieved prior to enrolment. It is your responsibility to have these qualifications in place before you can enrol onto the course.
