How To Prepare

There are many things you can do before attending an Open Day to help you prepare to take full advantage:

  • Read more about the courses you’re interested in by visiting our Study at BGU page.
  • Prepare a list of questions you’d like to ask. There will be plenty of opportunities to talk to subject tutors, staff and current students so think about what you’d like to find out from them.
  • Get a feel for the layout of the campus so you know where you’re supposed to be going! You can download a copy of our campus map here.
  • Plan your travel arrangements well in advance. You can find some useful travel information by clicking here.

What Our Students Say

“My best advice for an Open Day is ‘Go to one’! Really try and attend because it calms your nerves and worries. One thing I learned was that no question is a silly one! Despite you thinking it probably is, it won’t be – someone else is probably thinking it too. You can find out so much information about the course, the assessment, the campus, city, facilities and much more.”

Emily, BGU student

“I thought BGU was amazing from my first moment on the Open Day. The Student Ambassadors are fantastic – they are more than just a friendly face, they are genuinely interested in showing you around and making sure every question you have gets answered. I had looked at the website and the prospectus but actually coming on the Open Day sold BGU to me completely.”

Craig, BGU graduate
