Admissions – SKE Courses

Our BGU Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) programmes are designed to help potential Initial Teacher Training (ITT) trainees gain the depth of knowledge required to teach their chosen subject.

Our SKE courses are delivered in a blended approach including online distance-learning and face-to-face sessions at our campus in Lincoln. Some subjects (English and French) are delivered through the BGU Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) plus face-to-face weekends (BGU Core SKE) and others (Sciences including Computer Science, Geography, and Mathematics courses) are delivered in conjunction with VidLearn’s VLE, plus non-compulsory face-to-face weekends (BGU VidLearn SKE).
