Helen Elliott

Helen Elliott teaches counselling on the joint BA in Psychology and Counselling at BGU. She is nearing completion of her four year Masters in Integrative Psychotherapy, and has been practicing as a voluntary counsellor for two years. Helen currently practices at the Leicester Counselling Centre and is a trainee member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

Helen also holds an MSc in Forensic Psychology and is an experienced researcher, having worked as a Research Fellow for five years at Nottingham Trent University in the field of forensic psychology. Helen specialised in the evaluation of rehabilitation initiatives for individuals convicted of crime and is interested in continuing her evaluation research in the areas of counselling and psychology. Helen also has an interest in preventative approaches to psychological difficulties and crime.
