Behaviour management is not about dealing with issues as they arise. It’s about avoiding those issues in the first place as if you understand the behavioural triggers you will significantly reduce challenging behaviour.
This one day workshop is designed to offer teachers, student teachers, carers and support staff the skills required to enable successful behavioual inclusion of all individuals and groups of children.
Using a range of workshops and case studies, you will learn how to:
- adapt the learning environment to meet the needs of the individual or groups
- install a range of strategies / teaching and learning methods designed to improve the learning skills and general in-class understanding to avoid behavioural issues
- empower the learner to effectively manage their behaviours
The strategies throughout the day are appropriate and effective for a range of learners including those with ADHD, Austism, Asperger Syndrome and other such conditions.
