This is a single honours degree, which gives you the opportunity to study English Literature in depth.
English at BGU is ideal if you have a passion for literature and want to explore the power of language and narrative, whilst examining and debating new and different perspectives of the world. Studying English at degree level will be a leap from any previous study you have undertaken, but we ensure you are given all the critical skills you’ll need to overcome these challenges in a manageable and always enjoyable way. In addition, all students will need to pay £57.20 for an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). A successful Enhanced Disclosure is required before commencing the course.

If you’ve recently completed or studied a particular module as part of a previous qualification, this may mean that you’re not required to undertake a particular module of your BGU course. However this must be agreed in writing and you must apply for this.
