This is a joint honours degree, which allows you to study 50% of your course in Education Studies and 50% in Mathematics.
Our Education Studies course will provide you with an excellent understanding of education in its widest sense, nationally and globally, and is a great choice if you are interested in a career in teaching or are thinking about working in other education-related areas. Mathematics is vital in modern society, underpinning our understanding of the sciences, engineering, technology, finance and many other aspects of our everyday lives. Good mathematicians are in short supply and we aim to provide you with the tools you need to make a real difference in the world and to those around you. UCAS have introduced a new tariff for 2017 entry. The grades required to meet our entry requirements are equivalent to 2016 entry.
|You will normally need 96 -112 UCAS tariff points (from a maximum of four advanced level qualifications) with Mathematics at grade C (32 points).

In addition, all students will need to pay £57.20 for an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). A successful Enhanced Disclosure is required before commencing the course.

If you’ve recently completed or studied a particular module as part of a previous qualification, this may mean that you’re not required to undertake a particular module of your BGU course. However this must be agreed in writing and you must apply for this.
