Your Opportunities

Your time at BGU doesn't have to be purely academic - we want to give you every opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of areas. We have loads of possibilities for personal enrichment available to our students, from volunteering to entrepreneurship, fundraising to international visits. This section outlines just a few of those many opportunities that will enhance your time at university.

BG Touring
Our two successful drama degree programmes, Drama in the Community and Education Studies & Drama feed into the BG Touring Theatre Company. Students are encouraged to work in innovative and experimental ways throughout their courses, inevitably seizing opportunities to take their work into the community. Check out what they've been up to recently and how to get involved.

Volunteering is a great way to gain work experience and to give something back to the local, national or overseas community. Have a look a just a few of the many opportunities we have available for all students.

Ever fancied travelling and studying abroad? The ERASMUS+ Programme is a European Union funded exchange programme which enables students to study in another European country. Through the exchange you will develop your personal qualities such as adaptability and flexibility as well as promoting positive professional and individual relationships with our European neighbours. Find out how to get involved.

Student Ambassador Programme
Our STAMP programme is available to all students as we believe that the best people to talk to prospective students about BGU, the campus, the courses and the student lifestyle are those currently experiencing it. You'll be able to help at events, represent BGU and promote BGU and Higher Education to the outside world.
