Advice and Guidance
We offer a professional, impartial and confidential service to all our students, graduates and clients. We are able to cover topics including Careers and Business Guidance through one to one appointments.
Careers, Employability and Enterprise Services
The BG Futures Careers, Employability and Enterprise Team assist students throughout their time at University to research and plan their career as well as helping to improve their employability. We provide careers education, guidance and information via a number of services and activities.
CVs and Applications
Our Career Advisers are able to assist and support you with creating, updating and developing a CV, plus advice on applications, particularly your Personal Statement.

Jobs and Volunteering
BG Futures provide a vacancy service, information factsheets and advice and assistance to help with your job and opportunity searches and applications.
Located in the Hardy Building and open Monday to Friday, the Resource Centre houses a wide range of up to date careers and employability information in the form of fact sheets, magazines, journals and books. You can also pop in with your enquiries or to book an appointment with an adviser.
We provide a number of online services to assist with you career, employability and enterprise activities including Blackboard and our Jobs+ Vacancies Board and Jobs+ Connect Database.
