Events at BGU
League of Extraordinary Graduates | Wednesday 29th March | 13.30 – 16.00 | Hardy Teaching Rooms 1 & 2
How do employers recognise graduate attributes? What do the graduate attributes identified by BGU mean to prospective employers? And how do other universities run similar programmes? This event seeks to answer all of these questions and hopefully a few more. It is a short, sharp look at where we are with the graduate attributes programme, focussing on how we can grow and embed graduate attributes and how we can measure the impact of what we do. The event will start with a keynote from Norman Day, Director of Careers and Employability at the University of Hull, we will then hear from inspirational employers on how they recognise graduate attributes in the people they hire. Invited students will lead round table discussions on how we manage this programme across the University and how we can work with students to embed our approaches. David Rae will be providing a closing summary and throughout the event, there will be the chance to ask questions of speakers and network with colleagues.
