BGU’s NQT Support Programme
At the heart of everything we do is a passionate commitment to supporting schools in delivering better outcomes for children and young people. This includes promoting research approaches and using extensive evidence-informed strategies to plan and implement high-quality CPD for our new entrants to the profession. Through our new NQT Support Programme, we aim to support schools with their ‘Closing the Gap’ agenda, which includes encouraging NQTs to focus on self-selected targets and engage in collaboration, peer observation and support, and to discuss issues pertinent to their personal professional contexts.
The programme will consist of a block of eight or nine sessions, taking place throughout the Autumn 2016 and Summer 2017 terms. Places can book on a per-day basis, though given the philosophy of the programme, which is engagement incoherent and sustained inquiry, we recommend block-booking for those able to attend the full programme. Block booking is available at a discounted rate for BGU alumni and partner schools. For further information please download the programme leaflet here, email email@example.com or call 01522 563812
