Celebrations at Bishop Grosseteste University
Once you have officially graduated the Town Crier will lead you back to the campus to be greeted by a party atmosphere with Prosecco, strawberries, balloons and music. It is a wonderful and momentous occasion which we hope we mark in a special and memorable way for you and your loved ones.
A Graduation Service will be held in the University Chapel at 5:00pm on both days for a half hour service of music, prayers and readings led by the University Chaplain.
Start your day in Refectory – from 7:00am to 10:30am you can treat yourself to a bacon sandwich or a full English Breakfast before your ceremony. A special Graduation BBQ & Grill will be available from Refectory from 12:00 noon onwards with a selection of other foods being served throughout the day. Vegetarian options will be provided.
Light refreshments will be available throughout the day in Curiositea, our popular and quirky coffee shop. Don’t forget to stop in to have a relaxing tea and maybe even a slice of cake.
Our bar will be open throughout the day, serving a selection of alcoholic and soft drinks.
