Accessibility

Here at Bishop Grosseteste University, it is our policy to make our physical access, facilities and services as accessible as possible to all visitors. Diversity and equality is recognised, encouraged, promoted and valued at all levels of the University and in all its functions.

Disabled Access:

Ramps – we have ramp access to all ground floor rooms Door access – automatic/push button access available to all buildings except for the Student Union building Handrails – on all buildings Lifts – x3 located in Skinner Building, Science Block (Newton Building) and the Student Union Building Wheelchairs – x2 available if required

Hearing Loop:
All of the rooms in the Robert Hardy Building, The Venue and main reception are fitted with a hearing loop. If you require this service, please switch your hearing aid to the T position.

Toilets:
We have disabled toilet facilities available in the Hardy Building, Constance Stewart Hall, The Venue, Skinner Building, Sports and Fitness Centre, Student Union building and the Old School House.

Parking:
We have ample disabled bays for the use of blue badge holders in our main car park near the entrance to the campus.

Personal Aid Dogs:
All personal aid dogs are very welcome at Bishop Grosseteste University.
