Sport and Fitness Centre

The sports and fitness centre was opened in 2006 by BBC television present John Inverdale. The Sports and Fitness Centre houses a large sports hall, ideal for indoor activities such as basketball, hockey, badminton and much more.

Bars

Main Bar

The Main Bar has undergone a total refit and renovation, making a larger and much more modern and attractive place to socialise and an ideal space to unwind after your conference or to hire for small parties.

Please Note: This facility to hire is only available out of term.

Bishop Greaves Theatre Bar

Refurbished in October 2009, an ideal venue for small parties or pre theatre drinks.

Curiositea

Curiositea is Lincoln's newest and quirkiest coffee shop. Situated in the heart of Bishop Grosseteste University, Curiositea boasts a luxurious and vibrant 42 seat capacity coffee shop with additional patio seating and outside courtyard. With an Alice in Wonderland theme running throughout, Curiositea is the place to be to drink fantastic fresh coffee made by our trained Baristas. You can relax here from Monday to Sunday and it won't cost you the earth either.

Alongside our extensive coffee menu we also offer a variety of specialist teas from Teapigs.

Opening Times:

Monday to Friday: 8.00am - 8.00pm.
Saturday & Sunday: 10.00am - 2.00pm.

Shop

Located next to Curiositea, the University Shop is open throughout the year, offering everyday essentials such as newspapers, magazines, stationery, hot and cold beverages and confectionery.

Forgot to pack something for your visit? The shop also sells toiletries, chemist products and batteries as well as Fairtrade gifts, greeting cards and postage stamps. In fact, just about everything you could need.

All major credit and debit cards are accepted.

Opening Times:

Monday to Friday: 8.00am - 4.00pm.
Saturday: 8.00am - 1.00pm (term time only).

Dining Room

Located within Constance Stewart Hall, this informal restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our in house chefs will develop menus from the freshest seasonal ingredients that cater for every taste and budget, they can also create an unique theme for your evening if you prefer. On summer evenings we can move outdoors for barbeques under the stars, the facilities of the campus are yours to enjoy.

Please Note: Dining Room facilities are available weekends only during academic term, out of term the dining room is available 7 days a week.
