Professors and Readers
The University has a procedure for the award of the title of Professor or Reader to members of staff who meet the appropriate criteria. In the case of Readerships, these criteria are entirely research-based. The award of a Professorship likewise will normally demand a significant research reputation and output, as well as depending on other broader criteria. The current readers are available to support colleagues in the development of research.
