| Sabbatical Research Leave |
Sabbatical research leave is a period of paid leave in order that a member of staff can carry out a specific piece of research free from all teaching and administrative duties. Full-time academic staff (within certain service criteria) are eligible to apply. more >>>
The University has a procedure for the award of the title of Professor or Reader to members of staff who meet the appropriate criteria. The current Readers and Professors are available to support colleagues in the development of research. more >>>

There are many external funding sources available to researchers, whether you are at the postgraduate or early career researcher stage, where a research fellowship or funding for overseas study might be useful in your research, or you are an experienced researcher wanting to fund a major collaborative research project. more >>>
