Is teaching your final ambition?
If you wish to apply for teacher training following your foundation or degree course here at BG, there are routes to teacher training available.
The following routes are specific for teacher training:
You must hold GCSE Grade C or above in English Language and Mathematics. To train in the Primary age range, a Science GCSE at Grade C or above is also required. It is preferable to have these qualifications before applying, however, consideration will be given to those who haven't if they are achieved by 31 July 2013.
In addition to these requirements, various courses specify a number of days experience in their entry requirements. Please ensure you are clear of the requirements and these are referred to clearly in your GTTR or UCAS application as if not, this could result in a delay or unsuccessful outcome.
We do consider equivalent qualifications and here is a list of those which are deemed equivalent here at Bishop Grosseteste University. If your qualifications are not listed, we will consider www.equivalencytesting.com as equivalent:
