Caroline graduated with a first class BSc (Hons) degree in food and nutrition. Caroline worked for northern foods on the graduate scheme before changing her career direction into the public health field. Key milestones in her career include working in partnership with Lincolnshire county council as the principal nutritionist for school meals and working as a school meals policy development officer on a food education programme. After finishing her master’s degree in food science and completing part-time work at the university of lincoln as a lecturer, caroline expanded her husband’s outside catering business by setting up and managing a 45 seater bistro.

Chris is an experienced entrepreneur, business mentor and team coach. As well as running his own business – Ementor – he currently works on the delivery of the innovative BA (Hons) team entrepreneurship degree program at BGU. Chris sold his first business, lewis security group, in 2001 establishing a lifestyle and career change with a new venture in marine wildlife tourism and scientific support. He has also held roles a non-executive director for the customs house trust, zebra internet services and currently emerging luxury brand, Coulson.

Coral has 20+ years of experience in business support and commerce, across a wide range of business sectors. That experience has provided her with a range of skills which are invaluable in helping businesses to develop strategies for sustainable growth, finding sources of investment and funding, taking innovative ideas to market and sourcing training to develop strong leadership and effective teams.

Gina co-owns a Lincolnshire based manufacturing company and manages the business development and e-commerce side of the business. She was previously an Enterprise Coach for E-Factor Ltd helping individuals research and explore their business ideas. Also, Gina has a strong background in supporting organisations to apply and manage a range of grants and European Funding from her time as the ESF Technical Support for the Humber.

Jenny has a strong 25-year background in accountancy, business support and economic development and, for the last 13 years, has run her own successful management consultancy business. She has managed many major local, regional and international public, private and third sector economic development projects. To complement her experience, she has an MSc in Business Project Management.

Karen is a co-founder of Hill Holt Wood a leading Social Enterprise based in Lincolnshire and works part-time as Team Coach for the BA (Hons) Business (Team Entrepreneurship) programme at Bishop Grosseteste University.
In 2011 she was named Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year. Karen has held the role of Director of Social Enterprise UK from 2009 and Vice Chair since 2014.

Richard has run a range of businesses in the Visitor Economy including 3 independent food and drink outlets. Most recently he worked at the Heritage Brewing Company within the National Brewing Centre with responsibility for sales and marketing. Richard worked for 4 years for Business Link Leicester as a Business Advisor.

Paula has worked for Sector Skills Councils for the past 8 years; working mostly with organisations in the Manufacturing Sector, to identify skills gaps and develop the required training solutions. Paula is experienced in reviewing and developing National Occupation Standards, Qualifications, Apprenticeships and Training Courses.

Heidi has 15 years’ experience of working in Learning & Development in Health & Social Care in the Public Sector. She has a passion for 21stC Skills & Service Development, supporting organisations to be more adaptable, resilient & ready for the future. For the last 4 years, Heidi has been acting as Trustee & Chair of Every-One, a Lincolnshire-based Charity working with carers and the people they care for and has a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities & challenges faced by the sectors.

John currently runs a small B&B in Newark and works as a Careers Consultant in Magnus Church of England Academy, also in Newark. Until September 2015, he worked for Prospects Services, in London, with responsibility for the delivery of education, employment and training information, advice and guidance services in Bexley and Hackney to residents and employers. Whilst working for Prospects Services John worked closely with Resources Plus (a LB Bexley initiative to support sustainable skills and employability Bexley), as a seconded worker for Business Link Croydon to implement the roll out the strategy and delivery of the Pan-London Youth Contract and as the manager of the LB Bexley’s Transport and Logistics Project. John’s family are local hauliers, who are Lincolnshire based, and operate in both the UK the EU.
