BG Futures Business & Enterprise Centre

Being self-employed or starting a small business can be an attractive option and nearly five million people in Britain are self-employed with the numbers are growing all the time.  Self-employment can offer flexible working hours, an opportunity to do something you enjoy and a chance to be your own boss.

Opened in 2012, BG Futures Business and Enterprise Centre was created with support from the European Regional Development Fund. The building has fifteen business units with three conference and meeting rooms.  All rooms feature full audio-visual equipment with the latest SMART technology. The BG Futures Business and Enterprise Centre offers entrepreneurs and small local businesses:

  • Affordable office space for new businesses or those within two years of commencement of trading
  • Fifteen business incubator units of various sizes ranging from 8m2 to 25m2
  • In-house enterprise development staff
  • Meeting room suitable for 2-3 people, available for tenants to book
  • Access, at a reduced rate, to services provided by BGU including Reprographics and the Sports & Fitness Centre
  • The use of on-site eating and drinking facilities, Curiositea and Refectory
  • A range of meeting, conference and exhibition rooms which are of differing sizes but can comfortably fit up to 50 people depending on the layout
