Sabbatical research leave is a period of paid leave in order that a member of staff can carry out a specific piece of research free from all teaching and administrative duties. Full-time academic staff (within certain service criteria) are eligible to apply. The leave would be used to undertake a clearly defined piece of work with a substantial research output.
It is hoped that at least one member of staff will be able to benefit from it each academic year.
