Travel arrangements are the responsibility of delegates. You are advised to check connections carefully using the websites mentioned and ensure that the timetable you are using is up to date, nearer the time, in case of changes. You should always allow for extra time if travelling on public transport in case of delays. As Lincoln is a city in a rural setting, please note that public transport during the night is very limited. Website links are correct at the time of publication.
Lincoln is easily accessible via the M1, A1 and A46 from the South and via the M180 and A15 from the North.

DIRECTIONAL ASSISTANCE:
From the North:
- From the A46 Riseholme Roundabout with the A15, take the turning for the B1226 (Riseholme Road).
- Follow the road South to the next roundabout and take the first exit into Longdales Road.
- Take the second turning on the right into the Visitors Car Park.
From the A57: At the A46 ring road roundabout turn left to follow the A46 north to Riseholme Roundabout and then follow the directions above.
From the A15: At the roundabout with the A46 follow the directions above.
From the A46: Follow the A46 ring road to Riseholme Roundabout and then follow the directions above.
From the A158: Follow the signs to the A46 ring road, continue straight on to the Riseholme Roundabout and then follow the directions above.
From the South:
From the A15:
- Once through Bracebridge Heath, follow the A15 down the steep hill (Cross O'Cliff).
- At the first roundabout (South Park) follow the A15 to the right.
- Approaching the junction at the end of South Park, take the slip road to the left, following the A15 into the City Centre.
- Keep following the A15 through the City Centre and up the steep hill (Lindum Hill).
- At the top of the hill, immediately after the sharp left bend, take the left turn towards the cathedral.
- Take the second exit at the mini-roundabout and proceed straight on through the stone arch.
- At the traffic lights, go straight across and then follow the road round to the left.
- Keep following this road as it bends to the right onto Newport.
- Follow Newport up to the first roundabout and turn right into Longdales Road.
- Take the second turning on the right into the Visitors Car Park.
From the A46: Stay on the A46 ring road all the way to Riseholme Roundabout and then follow the directions 'From the North' above.
