Accommodation Fees

Prices for accommodation are revised annually and include bills and internet.

Please note that a 200.00 refundable deposit will be required once an offer of a room in our Halls of Residence has been made.

Payment procedure for Accommodation & Catering fees

Accommodation fees are due at the beginning of each term (October, January and April) and payment is asked by direct debit or alternatively by debit/credit card, as detailed below:

Direct Debit

You can make payment of your accommodation fees in three equal instalments (October, January and April) by direct debit.

A copy of the Direct Debit mandate will be provided with your Residence Agreement and the completed form should be returned in person on move-in day with a combination of the following documents as proof of identity and address: driving licence, passport, birth certificate or utility bill. Please also bring with you a bank card and bank statement which will allow us to verify your account number, sort code and authorised signature.

Debit or Credit Card

If you choose to pay by debit or credit card, the transaction will occur on the day of enrolment. It is, therefore, your responsibility to ensure you have sufficient funds in your bank account on this date, taking into consideration that student loans will usually take 3-4 working days to arrive in your account following the enrolment process.

You or your parents/legal guardians are welcome to contact the Finance Office on 01522 583787/583924 in advance of your enrolment to pay any amounts due by debit/credit card over the telephone. Or alternatively payment can be made in person to the Finance Office located on the 1st floor of the Skinner Annex Building.

Accommodation Catering & Residence Agreement

Once an offer of a room has been made for you to stay in our Halls of Residence and we have received your deposit, we forward our Resident Agreement to you by early September. Please take time to read the terms and conditions of the agreement before you sign, as it forms a binding contract between yourself and the University.
