The University organises and hosts an array of events each year including professional conferences, concerts, theatre, and of course our graduation celebrations.

An Evening with Mistress Nell Gwynne
7.30pm, Friday 21 March 2014, The Venue, Bishop Grosseteste University, Lesley Smith, Curator of Tutbury Castle in Staffordshire and an essentially English reformationist with a particular interest in medical history. You will have a chance to meet pretty, witty little Nell in fantastic costume and have chance to both laugh and cry with her!

Robert Grosseteste and the Pursuit of Religious and Scientific Learning in the Middle-Ages
July 18th - 20th 2014
This conference will explore the relationship between the pursuit of scientific and religious knowledge in the middle-ages, with a particular focus on the British scholar, theologian, scientist, astronomer and philosopher, Robert Grosseteste (c. 1175-1253). more >>>
