Challenge Events

Fundraising can be fun and at the same time it can be challenging, helping you to discover more about yourself and rewarding you with a real sense of achievement. Bishop Grosseteste University has teamed up with Skyline to offer you the chance to test your limits.

We are looking for people with an adventurous streak to choose from a whole host of amazing activities while at the same time raising vital funds to help Bishop Grosseteste University provide better services and facilities for students, so that they are given the best possible chance to go on to make significant contributions to our society.

We've already seen two members of staff trek the Great Wall of China, an alumnae cycled around Cuba, one of our current students trekked across Iceland and two members of staff and two students did Parachute Jumps. All of which raised a staggering amount of money for the BG Generations Foundation Fund which supports students undertaking volunteering in the UK and Overseas through Travel Scholarships. This really does make a difference to the lives of our students who experience so many different cultures whilst reaching out and helping others.
