We are proud to be able to tell you about our well established progression route from foundation degree to BA for learning practitioners which has been growing in numbers since the first cohort were welcomed in 2005. Since that time the range of settings represented has increased, fully embracing the depth of student experience.

So, if you would like to:

  • enhance your professional skills and understanding;
  • plan for your own continuing professional development;
  • study to honours degree level;
  • achieve a qualification which can lead to Qualified Teacher Status through progression onto a PGCE or GTP course;
  • develop an area of expertise in the education arena;
  • embrace the opportunity to engage in a work placement, allowing professional development within your own workplace;

The flexible structure of the BA Hons Professional Studies in Education is designed to include work-based learning so that you are able to continue in employment through the course. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of experienced academic staff during campus-based sessions once a week.
