Professional Development

Conferences

The Professional Development in Education conference series 2010 - 2011 will be finalised soon. Please bookmark this page and check back for details of conferences and guest speakers covering a range of cutting edge issues in education.

Postgraduate Professional Development Opportunities

Over the next year the Department has a number of visiting speakers with in-depth knowledge of research, child development, teaching and learning. These are mainly aligned to our postgraduate professional development (PPD) modules and set up for our students, although others interested in attending may do so (sometimes for a small fee). For more information about the sessions or about the MA programme and to book a place on any of the sessions, please contact Debbie Reynolds, PDE Administrator on 01522 583753 or pde@bishopg.ac.uk.

Our next weekend module is 29 - 31 Oct 2010 - click here for programme details and timings.

Conference Facilities

We offer excellent conference, teaching and seminar rooms, accommodation and dining facilities on site and renowned expert speakers; and attract delegates from local, national and international institutions.
