Research Seminar Series 2010 - 2011
The Research Centre offers an annual programme of research seminars featuring researchers from within Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln and also guest speakers. We aim to provide a full and varied programme to not only reflect the diversity of the research interests at the University College, but also to expand and enhance those interests by inviting academics from other institutions to speak.
The research seminar programme for 2010-2011 will be available shortly. We also help run the English Research Seminar Series - click here to see the programme for 2010 - 2011. We organise other research-related events, such as book launches, workshops and publisher visits, which will be advertised on the research pages of this website.
More information is available about the following research events if you click on the orange text.
You are invited to the first in the English Research Seminar Series for 2010-11:
- English Research Seminar Series - Consuming the Nation: food and culture in contemporary American Fiction, presented by Dr Lorna Piatti-Farnell, Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln - Monday 4th October 2010 at 1pm in the English Centre. Refreshments will be served from 12.45pm. More details to follow.
All staff and students at Bishop Grosseteste are invited to attend these seminars, but we also welcome members of the public and those from other educational institutions. As refreshments are available at most of the seminars, we do ask that anyone who would like to attend a research event should let us know so that we can give our catering department accurate numbers and information regarding any particular dietary requirements. All research seminars are free and are held at Bishop Grosseteste University College Lincoln. Please also let us know if you have any particular access needs.
If you have any queries about the research seminar series, or would like to attend one of the events, please contact Melanie Bullock:
