Continuing Professional Development and Post Graduate Professional Development

We offer a programme of professional development opportunities for those who work in educational settings, at every stage of their career. Single days and longer courses are organised in cooperation with Local Authorities and partnership schools to meet regional and individual institution's needs.

Current programmes include:

Mentoring and coaching:

Supporting students and colleagues in developing their teaching skills. Mentoring and coaching for school improvement.

This course, and others, can be accredited as Postgraduate Study leading to Masters Level credits as part of a Certificate in Professional Development in Education.

TDA funded Courses

Return to Teaching: This course is for qualified teachers who wish to return to the profession after a break. It is run in partnership with EM Direct.

Courses and in service training can be personalised to meet the specific needs of schools or clusters of schools.
