Debate one of the most exciting and controversial subjects: Education. Complement this with one of the most challenging curriculum areas: History. Together you have a popular, flexible and rewarding combination that provides a superb, in depth and reflective preparation for a career in education or teaching without committing you to a particular age group or area.

Education Studies

This has pathways through it for those wanting to pursue careers in primary, secondary, post 16 and informal educational settings. If you aren't sure what sector you want to work in yet, then you can sample them all!

History

Our History course has been designed to develop strong historical skills in those wanting to pursue a career in education. The programme will enhance your knowledge of a range of historical periods using a wide variety of sources. Throughout the course you will engage directly in historical research, debate challenging historical issues and visit some amazing historical sites.
