Welcome
We are pleased to be able to tell you about our well respected foundation degree for children's and youth workers, a course that that allows you to study and continue to work. The FdA in Children's Services is a flexible qualification covering the broad range of settings and contexts in which services are provided for 9-19 year olds. It provides a unique learning opportunity as you will study alongside students working or volunteering in a variety of children's services from pre-schools and children's centres to youth and community projects. Our approach ensures you develop the specialist skills required for working in children and youth services, gain a higher level appreciation of child and adolescent development and can operate confidently within inter-agency settings.
The Foundation Degree also provides a basis for progression to BA (Honours) and beyond……
