The Sibthorp Library

Welcome to the Sibthorp Library webpages. Whether you are already a student here or are considering becoming one, I hope you find the information contained within these pages useful. The menu on the left contains links to information about our services and facilities, including our catalogue.  If you are not sure where to find something simply refer to the library site map. Should you require any further information about the Sibthorp Library please get in touch.

The coming academic year is an important one for us as much of it will be spent extending and refurbishing the library.  The construction phase began in July 2011 and will continue until the end of August 2012, by which time the building will have almost doubled in size and lots of new spaces for study and resources will have been created.  Members of the library team are very excited about the project and the benefits it will bring, but are also conscious that it will inevitably also involve periodic minor disruptions to library services.  With this in mind we will be doing our very best to minimise any such disruption, keeping our users informed at all stages of the project via our Facebook page. If you have any questions about the project, or are concerned about how the project may affect your use of the library please do not hesitate to get in touch.
